FAA investigates after incoming plane executes go-around due to aircraft leaving from intersecting runway

The Federal Aviation Administration has indicated that it is looking into the matter after a Delta Air Lines flight carried out a go-around at an airport on Saturday due to another aircraft leaving from an intersecting runway.

"The crew of Delta Air Lines Flight 2351 executed a go-around at Boston Logan International Airport because another aircraft was departing from an intersecting runway," the FAA noted in a statement provided to Fox News Digital.

"The FAA is investigating the event which occurred around 11:30 a.m. local time on Saturday, June 20," the statement added.
