Ana Kasparian, co-host of the liberal series “The Young Turks,” criticized liberals in a Wednesday tweet for using terms such as “birthing person” to describe women.
Kasparian said terms like “a person with a uterus,” “birthing person,” or “person who menstruates” is degrading to women, and that using the word “woman” is not harmful to transgender people.
“I’m a woman. Please don’t ever refer to me as a person with a uterus, birthing person, or person who menstruates. How do people not realize how degrading this is? You can support the transgender community without doing this shit,” she said.
