Former President Donald Trump enjoys a considerable lead over President Joe Biden, even should the field include independent candidates Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
In a straight matchup, Trump led Biden 47% to 40% in the latest The Messenger/HarrisXsurvey, with 13% unsure. That 7% lead declined somewhat when the undecideds were made to choose between them, with Trump earning 53% support to Biden's 47%.
