Donald Trump is planning to send US citizens in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) infected with the Ebola virus to quarantine in Kenya.
The United States plans to open a centre in the East African country for Americans who test positive for the virus or have been exposed to it, according to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
The centre would be for Americans “who would need to quickly get out of DRC and quarantine,” an administration official told the newspaper.
The World Health Organization has recorded 10 confirmed Ebola deaths, 220 suspected deaths and 900 suspected cases in the DRC since mid-May.
