In an interview with Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson former President Donald Trump said that he would “never drop out” of the race, he added, “it's not my thing, I would never do it.”
The answer came in response to Carlson asking “is there anything legally that they could throw at you legally that would convince you to drop out of the race? If you get convicted in this case in New York?”
This was the first interview Trump has given since a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict the former president on March 30th. The charges are in connection with alleged payouts of $130,000 to porn star Stormy Daniels from Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen.
