President Donald Trump has announced an upcoming meeting of members of his Board of Peace where he said he will reveal details of a $5-billion aid program in Gaza.
The U.S. President created the international body in January, having announced a plan for it last year, to resolve the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas and has since said it will involve multiple executive boards focused on diplomacy, development and governance.
Writing on his social media platform, Truth Social on Sunday, Trump said the meeting will be held in Washington D.C. on February 19 and he will announce that member states have pledged more than $5 billion toward humanitarian projects in Gaza.
