A new poll has revealed that a majority of voters do not think that the United States should welcome refugees from Gaza, the Palestinian territory from which Hamas launched it’s brutal attack against Israel on October 7.
The Rasmussen Reports poll found that 52 percent of likely voters say the US should not accept Palestinian refugees from Gaza, while 28 percent said the country should. Another 20 percent were unsure.
When split by party affiliation, Democrats were more likely to say the US should accept these refugees, at 42 percent, compared to Republicans and independent voters who said the US should not accept these refugees, at 73 and 50 percent, respectively.
