Iran is planning nuclear attacks on Israel, and has bankrolled the killings of over 1,000 American soldiers.
And now Obama is giving them $1.7 million in US taxpayer cash to do it.
The Washington Free Beacon reports:
The State Department is staying silent after Iranian officials disclosed that the Islamic Republic spent a recent payment by the United States of $1.7 billion in taxpayer funds to expand and build-up its military, according to comments provided to theWashington Free Beacon...
...Iranian officials have now disclosed that officials have ordered that this $1.7 billion be allocated to the Islamic Republic’s military forces.
Iran’s military investment comes as it seeks to boost its forces stationed in the Persian Gulf region. Iran also is engaged in several controversial arms deals with the Russians, including the purchase of several warplanes and an advanced missile system.
Obama is funneling cash into Iran's army, despite intelligence reports showing Iran uses its funds to kill US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A report by retired British military officials Colonel Richard Kemp and Major Chris Driver-Williams finds:
Iranian military action, often working through proxies using terrorist tactics, has led to the deaths of well over a thousand American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last decade and a half.
Throughout the course of the Iraq campaign, a variety of weapons flowed into the country through direct purchases by the government of Iran. These included Explosively Formed Penetrators (EFPs), a shaped charge designed to penetrate armor. These weapons – often camouflaged as rocks – were identical to those employed by Hizbullah against Israeli forces. In 2006, the British Telegraph revealed that three Iranian factories were “mass producing” the roadside EFP bombs used to kill soldiers in Iraq . . .
Iran paid Taliban fighters $1,000 for each U.S. soldier they killed in Afghanistan. The Sunday Times reported that a Taliban operative received $18,000 from an Iranian firm in Kabul as reward for an attack in 2010 that killed several Afghan government troops and destroyed an American armored vehicle.
