Michigan’s JD Vance gets two years in prison for threatening JD Vance and Donald Trump

James Donald Vance Jr. pleaded guilty to two felony counts after federal prosecutors said the deranged man threatened that if Trump or Vance visited his city again they would “leave it in a body bag.”

“If tRump [sic], Vance, or Musk ever come to my city again, they will leave it in a body bag,” Vance Jr. wrote in one online post, federal prosecutors said.

The message continued, “I will either be shot by a secret service sniper or spend the rest of my life in prison. I’ve only got about 10 years left anyway so I don’t f**king care either way.”

Federal prosecutors said Vance Jr.’s menacing online threats began in early 2025, when he began posting on the social media platform Bluesky from the username “Diaperjdv.”
