Google pauses ‘woke’ Gemini’s AI after it shows white historical figures as ‘racially diverse’

Google is pausing its Gemini's AI image creator after the software began to create inaccurate images of white historical figures, depicting them as people of color. 

This drew criticism from X owner and xAI competitor Elon Musk who called Google's AI software "woke" and "racist."
