A member of the House Oversight Committee claimed Monday that the FBI fears an informant with insights into an alleged criminal bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden "will be killed" if unmasked.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) tweeted, "Just left meeting for House Oversight. The @FBI is afraid their informant will be killed if unmasked, based on the info he has brought forward about the Biden family."

Luna noted in a subsequent tweet, "According to the @FBI, Biden as VP was involved in a 5 million dollar bribery scheme with a foreign national."

Luna made these claims after House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) and ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) glimpsed an unclassified document the FBI has worked hard to keep under wraps, which reportedly contains "valuable, verifiable information" describing an alleged $5 million "criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relation to the exchange of money for policy decisions."
