Former CNN anchor Don Lemon erupted with anger over a momentary glimpse of civility between former President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump.
Lemon unleashed a profanity-laced rant on his YouTube channel, lambasting what he called an alarming normalization of behavior between political enemies that he deemed dangerous to Democracy.
He singled out Obama's apparent bromance with Trump during Jimmy Carter's funeral last week which saw the pair laughing and chatting with one another while a stone-faced Vice President Kamala Harris sat just inches away.
'You have to indicate to the American people that this is not normal,' Lemon began, addressing Obama's polite exchange with Trump. 'Grinning with someone that you have called a fascist over the last couple of years and the last months. That's not normal.'
He went on to accuse Obama of sending the wrong message at a critical time, criticizing him for engaging with a man whose supporters, Lemon alleged, have also perpetuated cruel insults against the former first lady.
