Antifa, Vandals Threaten Upcoming Candace Owens Event

Candace Owens—Director of Communications at conservative organization Turning Point USA—is a leading critic of Black Lives Matter and the Democratic Party. Owens, who is African-American, recently launched the “Blexit” movement, which encourages African-Americans to vote for conservatives.

Recently, the Philadelphia Inquirer published an opinion piece entitled “The frightening effectiveness of black sellouts like Candace Owens,” which compared Owens to a “house slave.”

Just months ago, Owens and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk were in Philadelphia eating breakfast at Green Eggs Cafe when ANTIFA showed up and harassed them.

The UPenn College Republicans and The UPenn Statesman will host the conservative commentator on Monday, April 15. During the week leading up to the talk, several members of each student organization noticed the removal of flyers they had placed around campus, in addition to intentional coverups of the Owens posters.
