It’s no secret that the radical liberal base of the Democratic Party is fired up -- but the troubling thing is that they are raising record-breaking amounts of money to install Pelosi as speaker.

They said it themselves: They are about to hit us with everything they have to derail our president’s agenda.

I'm proud to announce that we hit our very ambitious fundraising goal for January -- in fact, it was the most money that the DNC has ever raised online in January of an election year. Plus January 31st was the third-highest online fundraising day of the cycle, and that's entirely because of the support from lots of people stepping up to support Democrats.

Together we're building this organization the right way. That's not always how this organization has worked in years past, and it makes a huge difference. It makes the Democratic Party accountable to the grassroots, which is how it should be. It's the only way our movement will succeed.

The future of our country and our party is in your hands. Together, we have the opportunity to change them both for the better -- but that won't happen unless all of us stay involved.

Taking back Congress this year is our best chance at stopping Donald Trump's agenda -- and electing Democrats at every level of government is how we will continue fighting for the values we share.
