Yet another anti-gun activist has been arrested for...threatening a mass terrorist shooting.
This the time homicidal anti-gun liberal is Kyler Schmitz, a gay Virginia Democrat.
Apparently inspired by Barack Obama's decision to use the Orlando terrorist attack to demand gun bans, Schmitz took to Twitter to directly tell multiple Republican lawmakers he was driving to Washington to "shoot you in the face one by one."
Appearing in court, Schmitz tried to claim the death threats were "political satire" intended to support gun bans.
The judge disagreed, pointng out the tweets could be intepreted as nothing other than direct death threats.
NBC Washington reports:
In at least one of the tweets, sent in the days immediately after the Orlando nightclub shooting, Schmitz allegedly threatened to shoot Sen. Roy Blunt, a Republican of Missouri. The message was directed at Blunt's official Twitter handle.
The tweets, which included graphic and violent language, led to an investigation by U.S. Capitol Police......An automated license plate reader detected Schmitz's car on Independence Avenue SW, within two blocks of the U.S. Capitol, in the hours after he posted some of the messages, prosecutors said.
